We are thrilled to announce that our latest development, the Aquileon, has been handed over to us from our building contractors, Ascia Construction.
Some of our Senior students were fortunate to have a tour ahead of the handover and they were very excited about the prospect of having their lessons in there.
The Aquileon is keyed into the existing Theatre block and is a substantial addition to our estate. It provides the following new facilities:
- six new senior classrooms for Humanities, Maths and PSHE
- ICT Suite
- Two double height Art Rooms
- Photography Department including a Dark Room
- Black Box performance space for Drama, Dance and the Performing Arts
- Well-being Centre
- Tutorial rooms
- new lavatory blocks for senior boys and girls
- staff offices
The official launch of the building will take place on Thursday 28th September when visitors will be able to see the Aquileon fully.
