Mrs Helen Skrine has announced that she will be retiring at the end of this academic year having been Headmistress at Belmont School since 2006. The Board of Governors has appointed recruitment agency, Odgers Berndtson, to recruit her successor and the role is being advertised on the the Times Educational Supplement’s website. It is hoped that the new Head will be announced in due course.
Mr Andrew Baker, Chair of Governors says, “Mrs Skrine’s successor will inherit a school that has transformed over the last few years to offer GCSEs and has gone through a significant build-development programme. It is an exciting time to join the School and we are confident to appoint another great Head to take Belmont forward as a leading co-educational through-school.”
