Woodland Camp

Belmont School is pleased to announce the return of Woodland Explorers; a fun woodland activities club aimed at children under five.

Following the appointment of our new Outdoor Activities Co-ordinator, visiting children will join in with our forest school sessions and will be able to try their hand at crafts in Belmont’s dedicated woodland camp area equipped with tyre swings, a shelter, campfire and log seats.

Alex Hammond, Outdoor Activities Co-ordinator at Belmont School said, “We are excited to show visitors how we make the most of our natural environment.  Belmont has 65 acres of woodland and Woodland Explorers will learn new skills and enjoy fun activities in our woods.”

The club will run on the first Thursday of the month during term time from 1.30pm – 3pm.  Children must be accompanied by an adult.  Warm, suitable clothing is essential as the sessions will take place regardless of the weather.

Woodland Explorers is free of charge.  For further details and to book your place, please visit the Woodlands Explorers page or telephone 01306 730852.
