The Wellbeing Hub

At Belmont, creating an environment that nurtures pupil mental health and wellbeing is a key priority for us.  To help us do this, we have invested in The Wellbeing Hub, developed by child and adolescent mental health and wellbeing experts, Teen Tips.

What is The Wellbeing Hub?

The Wellbeing Hub is an interactive online portal, designed to help you understand and meet your child’s social and emotional needs.

What information will I find on there?

The Wellbeing Hub includes a wealth of information on topics such as anxiety and stress to nutrition, addiction, gender identity and for our older pupils: careers advice.  Information can be accessed in a variety of ways from live Q&A sessions and webinars to videos, tip sheets and podcasts.

How do I access the Wellbeing Hub?

Instructions on accessing the Wellbeing Hub can be found on the Parent Portal.  Please contact Mrs Eastment, if you require any further information via email at: reastment@belmont-school.org

What is on there for my child?

There is a Sparks section aimed specifically at pupils, which includes everything from book suggestions, climate action projects, inspiring stories and positive news from around the world.  There are practical exercises to improve mindfulness and talking points for friends and family, for example, `How can we be sure that we landed on the moon?’.  There is also an Offers section where you can take advantage of discounts on clothes, books, health and wellbeing products and more.

What if my children are not teenagers?

If you're parenting children aged 2-12, there is a course that will give you information and step-by-step tools to create a happy home life, to manage those every day hotspots, like morning routines and sibling squabbles, and to help your child thrive.

How much does it cost?

We are delighted that our parents, pupils and staff are entitled to free access.
